Turmeric powder: also called Indian saffron or mango ginger, its warm color varies between ocher yellows and oranges. If turmeric is often used to color rice, it certainly enhances dishes, its dosage is precise. Spice with a light and subtle fragrance, sprinkle it in your salads or in your vinaigrettes, turmeric goes very well with basil, cauliflower, potatoes, lentils, beans, poultry, fish whites, mussels and tomato-based sauces. Used as a curry, it also makes up colombo, massale and ras el hanout.
